Main Garden

Current Season: Winter Rest

Winter Rest for the main garden begins 1 November and runs through 22 January this year, during this time we give back to the soil through mulches, composts, and llama bean fertilizer allowing the ground a much needed rest before the next growing season.
Our main garden is 160 feet long by 75 feet wide. We grow a variety of vegetables and fruits through out the growing season. We grow primarily heirloom and always Non-GMO produce using organic growing methods. Insect control is accomplished through the encouragement of good bugs to hang-out, Guinea Fowl (birds) allowed to forage in the rows, planting of insect repellent plants next to the crop plants, and good old fashion bug-squashing!

Herb Garden

Current Season: Restoration

We are currently in the process of restoring this garden. The Great Freeze of February 2021 took a tole on it as well as trying to balance time requirements across the farm; check back later!
Our herb garden produces both culinary and medicinal herbs which can be used fresh, dried, or distilled into oil concentrations. Many of the herbs we consider to be "culinary" today actually provide key health benefits and nutrients we need on a daily basis.

Flower Garden

Current Season: Construction

While most folks think of a flower garden as only there for beauty and flower cuttings; we grow flowers that are useful for medicinal purposes either fresh, dried, or distilled into oil concentrations. Additionally, several of the flowers we grow are natural insect repellents and are placed in our other gardens to keep the bad bugs away!
