Sprouts Sprouts are "just started" seeds that are about a week old and the "sprouts" are highly nutritious addition to salads, sandwiches, and for snacks. The sprouting seeds we use are untreated and have tested negative for the presence of E. coli 0157 and Salmonella by our supplier (most are certified organically produced). We keep the seeds on a screen in a dark environment (like being in the ground, only no dirt!), watering twice a day; on the last day of the week, we expose the little seedlings to light for them to green up a bit. And then they are ready for you! Small batch quantities are currently available on a pre-order basis only.

Variety Description Availability Alfalfa Mild, nutty flavor. Commonly used to add flavor and texture to salads and sandwiches. Special Order Mix 1 Various shades of green leaves and pink and white stems with a crisp, mildly spicy flavor. Mix includes: broccoli, radish, alfalfa, and kale. Special Order

Micro-Greens Similar to sprouts, microgreens are nutrient-dense, intensely flavorful small plant; instead of allowing it to reach its full size, leaves are harvested very young and simply beautiful—perfect for chefs, food enthusiasts, families, and the health conscious. We are in the process of beginning our Micro-Greens Grow-house, please email and let us know if you are interested!

Large Greens Our "Large Greens" (Spinach, Lettuce Varieties, Kale, and other greens) have been so popular in the early season sales, that we are experimenting with ways to provide year-round greens to you! Most of the greens don't do well in the Texas heat and die off around mid-June; we are looking at the possibility of creating an environmentally controlled grow house to keep temperatures such that we can grow them year-round! Mushrooms We have run one batch of mushrooms before and are currently looking at better management techniques to provide the freshest, high-quality mushrooms possible. We have raised Blue Oyster and Pink Oyster mushrooms in the past and may expand our varieties.
