The Farm The Farm began in 2014 with a few chickens, ducks, and a garden and what developed into big dreams. In 2016, the Farmers were married in what is now the West Pasture and big Shindig & Potluck Dinner was held to celebrate the event. A few months later, the cash gifts from the wedding were compiled and the first 3 head of cattle were bought. Those 3 little Aberdeen Angus were all pregnant, and soon the small herd doubled. In 2017, BA Angus & Agriculture LLC was officially established with the State of Texas. Today, we run between 20-30 head of cattle, chickens, turkeys, llamas, dogs, cats, and a huge vegatible garden. We always strive to provide high quality products from our grass-fed-grass-finished beef, smoked heritage turkey, free-range chicken eggs, and fresh vegatables. We purposely select heritage or herloom breeds and plant varieties; hybrids are strickly evaluated to determine the affects on the natural organism (plant or animal) and to the product quality (flavor, color, etc). Our Farm does not grow or raise Geneticly Modified Organisms (GMO plant or animal) EVER. While we are not certified "Grass-Fed" or "Organic", we adhere to most of those principles as well as develop our own methods to insure you recieve the most natural raised and flavorful products availble. We love to host tours and on site events for you to get to know our growing methods and experiance the Farm.

The Farmers Brandon & Amanda met in 2015...at first Amanda thought the socially awkward engineer was weird, but since she wanted to work on the just beggining farm, she stuck around. A few weeks later started a brief courtship and wedding planning all crammed into an 11 month period. The couple was married in May of 2016 and the farm kept growing...Amanda quit her full-time job off the farm to run the day-to-day management requirements. Clara and Louise arrived shortly after; both girls immediately took to farm life and have had quite the adventure. We all consider it a blessing to be apart of your family in providing our farm produce and products to care for your household.
